Thomas Land 's SDGs Initiatives
Thomas Land will work to develop the local community and achieve the international goal "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)", aiming to be a facility that is warm and friendly to both the natural environment and our customers.
Eliminating plastic at food and beverage facilities within the park
Abolish disposable plastic products such as cups and straws
We will change the disposable cutlery plastic products used at the facility to paper products. (Straws, cups, etc.)
We also use environmentally friendly paper products.
In addition, we will provide a meal menu in a container that can be taken home and reused.
Sale of reusable products
Sale of eco bags and clear bottles
We sell eco-bags as an initiative to reduce the number of plastic shopping bags.
We also sell souvenir lunch boxes and clear bottles that can be reused at home, and are working to reduce disposable products.
The station shop sells portable spoons and chopsticks, and we recommend that you discontinue disposable cutlery.
Promotion of web Tickets
Paperless with WEB Tickets
WEB Tickets are recommended at Fuji-Q Highland and Thomas Land
We are working to reduce the environmental burden by avoiding congestion at the Tickets
Abolition of park map and introduction of official app
Significant reduction of paper resources by promoting IT
We stopped distributing the MAP in the park on paper and introduced an official app that incorporates the map function to promote IT, and abolished the approximately 1 million MAP in the park that was printed every year.
Free entrance
An amusement park that everyone in the area can easily use
From the summer of 2018, we have made admission to Fuji-Q Highland and Thomas Land free of charge with the aim of creating an amusement park that is easier for local residents as well as tourists to use. Going forward, we will continue to aim to be an amusement city that is easier for local residents to use and can easily stop by.

What are SDGs?
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the successors to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001, and are included in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015. It is an international goal to aim for a sustainable and better world by 2030. Composed of 17 goals and 169 targets, we pledge to "leave no one behind" on Earth. The SDGs are universal, not only in developing countries, but also in developed countries themselves, and Thomas Land is also actively working on them.
